Hong Kong November 2014 - Umbrella Revolution
Protestors against the Chinese ruling were occupying big parts of the main streets during the Umbrella Revolution. They were staying in tents right in the middle of the road. Apart from some heated arguments everything went (still) quite peaceful. I sympathised with them, thinking how they were loosing their freedom bit by bit since Hong Kong was handed back to China by the British. However, for visitors to the city like me it was a big hassle.
